Competition for the position of professor in Austria

At the Montanuniversität (a reputable Austrian university and our long-time research partner), the position of a University professor at the Department Polymer Engineering and Science is to be filled as a permanent employment contract under private law with the Montanuniversität Leoben in accordance with the Salaried Employees Act (Angestelltengesetz) with full employment

The professorship should include in teaching and research at least:

• Processing technologies for the production of components from polymer-based composite materials

• Development, automation and simulation of the respective processes

• Recycling of composite materials

The following focal points in research and teaching are to be covered:

• The manufacture of components from polymer-based fiber composites using pioneering technologies
• Innovative manufacturing processes and modern methods of modeling and simulating manufacturing processes
• Material and process selection to achieve recyclability of polymer-based composites
• Recycling processes for thermoplastic and thermoset-based composites
