At our upcoming seminar, we will be hosting Tetiana Roik, a professor from the Kyiv Polytechnic National University of Ukraine who has been collaborating with us for many years.
She will present two topics:
Higher Education Issues at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute
Features of the composite materials development used for friction units
Short CV
Professor Tetiana Roik is a faculty member at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” in Kyiv, Ukraine. Her expertise spans Material Science (specifically Materials of Publishing and Printing Productions, and Physics of Metals) and Machine Building Technology (with a focus on composite antifriction materials). Her practical experience includes the development of novel composite antifriction materials and finishing technologies for antifriction part surfaces, simulation of surface microrelief after Magnetic-Abrasive Processing, and comprehensive material research using techniques like Auger-spectroscopy, Scanning/Raster Electron Microscopy, Fractography, X-ray spectrum analysis, and Thermodynamic and Fourier analysis.
