At Wednesday’s seminar, a PhD student of Prof. Grzegorz Lesiuk Alessandra Schifino, who came to us from Brazil, will present herself for the first time.
The subject of her PhD, which she will talk about at the seminar, is the study of the behavior of the A6061 aluminum alloy used in the additive manufacturing process.
“3D printing” of elements is increasingly replacing traditional manufacturing methods such as casting or subtractive machining. Practically all research centers in the world and industry are working on the rapid introduction of these techniques into production.
